Metabolomics & Fermented Foods

In September 2022 the Netherlands Metabolomics Center (NMC) organized the first edition of Metabolomics & the Microbiome symposium, which was a great success!

This year the second edition will be hosted by Danone Research in Utrecht on 29th of February.

This edition is a follow-up and aims at broadening our knowledge and network in the field of Metabolomics & Fermented Foods. We like to initiate an open discussion on how metabolomics is contributing to answering complex questions in the field of Fermented Foods concerning monitoring health and food safety issues. The main focus will be on mammalian health and food production. Among the eight excellent international keynote speakers from around Europe are Paul Cotter (Teagasc Food Research Centre, IR),  Barbara Korousic Seljak (JSI, SI), Kiran Raosaheb Patil (University of Cambridge, UK), Corinna Dawid (TUM, DE), Julien Tap (INRAE, FR), Klaartje Houben (DSM-Frimenich, NL), Christian Chervaux, (Danone Nutricia, FR) and Guus Roeselers (Danone Nutricia, NL).
We also will feature a panel discussion and a poster session!
