BAMA Symposium 2016

Op woensdag 23 maart 2016 vond te Papendal, Arnhem, tijdens het voorjaarscongres van de KNVM en KNMM, het vijfde BAMA-symposium plaats voor microbiologische bachelor- en masterstudenten (hbo en universitair).

Alle deelnemende studenten konden op die dag rondom het BAMA-symposium tevens de sfeer proeven van een groot landelijk microbiologisch congres. En…kregen tevens de gelegenheid om met Nederlandse microbiologen en hun werk in contact te komen en buitenlandse sprekers te horen! Het BAMA werd dit jaar weer door alle deelnemers en organisatoren zeer positief beoordeeld.

In totaal waren er tegen de 130 aanwezigen voor de pauze en daarna nog ongeveer 80. De zaal voldeed uitstekend en zal ook voor volgend jaar weer gekozen worden. Het aantal ingestuurde abstracts voor de presentaties en posters was dit jaar aanzienlijk. In totaal konden er 8 geplaatst worden als presentatie ( 5 universiteit en 3 HBO) en 14 als poster. Er was 1 extra poster van de universiteit Nijmegen met informatie over de Master Microbiologie die daar gegeven wordt.

De posters waren ook dit jaar weer een groot succes, met name de pitches. In de koffiepauze werden ze druk bezocht met levendige discussies en een enthousiaste uitleg. De posterprijs, de nominaties en de certificaten werden door de studenten zeer gewaardeerd.
