The Human Microbiome in Health and Disease

You are invited to attend the lecture series the Human Microbiome in Health and Disease, January 7 – January 11, 2019 in ARTIS. The lecture series is accessible without a fee for all PhD and MSc students in the Life Sciences in The Netherlands. All attendees should register (credits: 3 EC) via the student button at the ARTIS-Micropia website showing the 2019 lecture programStudents that register should attend all lectures. Each MSc student will write a short applied research proposal (4-5 p) as part of the course related to our current insights in the human microbiome, including 1. abstract 2. problem definition 3. approach 4. application. Proposals will be scored on originality, scientific quality and feasibility. The best proposal will win the Micropia Microbiome Award 2019 on Thursday, January 17. Please find here the winners of 20182017 and 2016. MSc-students outside VU University Amsterdam who wish to receive the credits should take care of ‘bijvakregistratie’ at the VU. PhD-students will receive a certificate of attendance.
